Something we have been sharing by word of mouth and referrals is now available in our shop. We have created our own hand drawn artwork made into personalized keepsake prints. This one features a horse and carriage with a bride and groom. More themes will be added soon.

These make excellent wedding and annniversary gifts. Options are available in framed and unframed prints as well as frame sizes and matting. The best part is that each is customized with names, date and banner wording. This horse and carriage is our one of a kind creation, making it the perfect unique gift.

The banner choices are either “Just Married”, “Just Hitched” or “1st Anniversary” (10th, 25th, 50th or number of your choice).

I wanted to share my handcrafted inspirational desk calendar with you. This took a while to make since there was so much detail and so many products used during the process.

Distress Marker Basics & Video

For paper crafting, distressing is all the rage. Ranger manufactures an amazing line of products to help create the vintage look. The Tim Holtz distress markers and stamp pads are some of the new tools in the line. There are still questions on techniques.

Autumn Surprises

We have lots of handcrafted items for Halloween and Thanksgiving with coordinating decor including scrapbooking supplies for the season. Here is an Autumn set of pillow boxes for small favors like Hershey miniature chocolates or small wrapped treats.

Set of four handmade Autumn or Halloween treat pillow boxes. These are great for Thanksgiving or Halloween goodies, Autumn party or school classroom gift favors. They are decorated with an attached pumpkin tag with the sentiment “Wishing you a fall of sweet surprises”. Each include a tied ribbon. They are made with pumpkin print decorative paper. I used 3 Hershey miniature chocolates. Each box is approximately 3.5″ x 2.5″. Tools used include KCO decorative paper, cardstock, Cricut Tags, Bags, Boxes & More 2 cartridge, punches, My Creative Time All Around Halloween stamps, ribbon, scoring board, ink, adhesive, Ranger Tim Holtz distress markers in Rusty Hinge, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Peeled Paint.

Spooky favors

Witches Welcome Halloween box

I am ringing in the Autumn with some spooky favor boxes for Halloween. These were fun to make, using some of my favorite scrapbooking supplies. These are handmade Halloween themed favor boxes in the shape of a coffin. These are great for trick or treat goodies or Halloween party gift favors. The top is bright orange Halloween prints with bats and the bottom is solid black cardstock . Each box includes an attached Witches Welcome hat tag embellishment with black tulle accent. Each box approximately 5.75″ x 3″ x 1.5″. Tools used include cardstock, Karen Foster decorative paper, Cricut Artiste cartridge by Close To My Heart, punches, My Creative Time All Around Halloween stamp, Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade distress marker, ink, scoring board and adhesive.

Pirate Party Invite

Arrrrg… A pirate party invite. This was fun to make. So much so, that I made other party decor to match. This is fitting for a boy’s birthday party or masculine theme. I used striped decorative paper by EK, Cricut Imagine Buccaneer cartridge, adhesive, scoring board, banner stamp from Pink By Design and sentiment from KCO. The inside is a fill in space for party details with matching trim.

Embellished Graduation Invitation

Here’s the party invitation card that was included with my daughter’s graduation announcements. Initially it was plain with foil letters. I thought it needed a little more embellishment. I used her school colors for the ribbon and accents. Then stamped the sentiment and image from My Creative Time All Around “Birthday Time” and “Everything Accessories” stamp sets. I added a little glitter glue and framed with circle and scallop punches and matching cardstock.

The party was a success and I couldn’t be more proud of her.

Butterfly Birthday

I have been busy cleaning up the blog. Would love to share more projects here and do some giveaways. Let us know what you would like to see here and what from our shop, you would like to see us give away. Here is a card inspired by my daughter’s 18th birthday.

Festive Happy Birthday handmade card with front sentiment “You bring out the happy in me! Happy Birthday”. The dimensional accents include an embellished butterfly with smiley face and stamped decorative tag. The background image is a glittered floral flourish theme for added accent. Tools used include decorative paper by K&Company, My Creative Time stamp, My Pink Stamper Stamp, Cricut, white gel pen, Art Blanché ribbon, cardstock, ink, gems, and adhesive. The base cardstock is high quality 98 lb. heavyweight cardstock with a sheen finish, with a white frost envelope of the same quality. Cardstock was hand cut and scored using a paper trimmer and scoring board. Card measures approx 5.5″x4.25″.

This one was fun to make as she will soon fly away to college.

It’s Summer Time

Now that it’s summer time, I finally have some time to post some of the crafty updates here on the blog. We have been busy updating our store website and getting ready to roll out additional product categories for the boutique. We will update to our facebook page also, so like us there and subscribe to this blog feed. Who is interested in more giveaways? My newest passion is stamps. I just love visiting all the shops and their creative stamp lines and wish I could have them all. Wishful thinking. Here is one of the projects that I’ve done.

This card was done for my dear Mom this year. This one made me a fan of BasicGrey paper and these adorable sentiment stamps. Tools usued include: BasicGrey decorative paper, punches, adhesive, My Creative Time sentiment stamps, Inkadinkado heart stamp, glitter glue, Tim Holtz distress marker in black soot, scoring board, Art Blanché ribbon and ink blending tool.
